If there is ever a request for your personal data, it would require your explicit consent for release. We only share your identifiable information with third parties if you gave your explicit consent. Furthermore, any data we do pass on to any partner we work with is de-identified and aggregated to ensure your data and privacy is always protected. Examples of de-identified and aggregated data could include information on the average wait for a diagnosis or the breakdown of variant prevalence across a population for a given condition, which helps patient advocacy organizations and biotech sponsors understand patient populations and the patient experience for rare conditions.
Protecting the privacy of the patients that entrust us with their information is of utmost importance to the Probably Genetic team. We have outlined all of this in a transparent and patient-friendly way in the documents below. If you have any concerns about your data or privacy, please reach out to us.
